Storm warnings have been issued for the UK

Disruptive winds, rain and potential snow from two storms are forecast for many UK areas from today.

According to the Met Office, Storm Dudley is expected to bring strong winds to the north of the UK and Wales from Wednesday afternoon and both yellow and amber weather warnings have been issued. Wind gusts may reach up to 80-90 mph in some coastal areas of Scotland, and 60-70 mph further inland.

Storm Eunice will arrive on Friday, bringing further very strong winds for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Fallen trees, flying debris, damage to buildings and power cuts are all possible repercussions.
