We sadly lost a friend, colleague and a valued team member.
It is with a great deal of sadness that we are informing you of the death of one of our beloved staff members.
Martin Warr, our IT Resources & Schemes Builder sadly passed away on Monday 15th June 2020. His passing was a huge shock to all of us at Touchstone Underwriting; we have lost a dear friend and colleague. No words can adequately express our sadness at Martin’s death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him.
Martin’s dedication and commitment has been an integral part of our success and growth. Martin started out with us over 18 years ago as a Travel Underwriter. He then changed careers and followed his passion by heading up our IT department. He was instrumental in the development of our IT software for our underwriters and brokers, building a platform for the future – his memory shall live forever in the heart of our company.
Our thoughts will continue to be with Martin’s wife, son and family.
As a sign of respect, we will be closing our offices between 10am and 11am today, Monday 13 July. At 10:04, precisely we will be holding a minutes silence in his honour.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation at this difficult time for us all.
