Swift settlement of property damage weather claims

Providing us with as much detail as possible upfront helps us to manage the claim more quickly and efficiently. Contact us with all the relevant property claims information; this includes any claims information for plant, machinery and stock.

Depending on the value of the claim, the following actions can be taken: (please note this is advice for Allianz insurance policies only)

Claims valued up to £1,500 – customers can go ahead and organise their own repairs. Please supply us verbally with the relevant estimates/ invoices by phone (we don’t require the documentation), together with the name and contact details of the appointed contractors/ suppliers, in case we need to contact them

Claims valued over £1,500 and up to £5,000 – please ask your customers to provide us with one single estimate for their repairs and, where possible, any photographic evidence of their property damage. If their property needs to be made watertight, they can go ahead with emergency repairs, up to a value of £500.

Claims valued over £5,000 – we’ll appoint our loss adjuster to manage their claim from start to finish. However, if their property needs to be made watertight, they can go ahead with emergency repairs up to £500.
