Engineering Inspection continues to prioritise existing customers during Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

On March 16 Allianz advised of their decision to temporarily suspend trading of all new inspection business and that they’d review this position on 30 April 2020.

Allianz have considered the Government guidance in respect of the continued lockdown measures and their expectation is that there will be a surge in demand for their services when we exit lockdown. Therefore they’ve taken the decision to extend the suspension until 31 May 2020. They continue to hold this under review and will provide a further update towards the end of May.

This decision supports their focus on the safety of our existing customers, their plant and machinery and that of employees. Allianz will continue to work with all interested parties (customers, SAFed, accreditation bodies, government and enforcing authorities) to provide guidance and support.

You can find all the latest Engineering Inspection information and FAQs on the Allianz website. Their Coronavirus (Covid-19) Resource Hub also contains a wealth of information with useful links and advice to help customers manage their businesses in the current climate.

Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation during this challenging time.
